Woodbridge, Virginia
A place to work well, a place to call home, and a more affordable Northern Virginia community.
Welcome to Woodbridge.
Woodbridge is in Prince William County, about 20 miles south of D.C., with highly rated schools and easy commutes to both Fort Belvoir and Quantico.
It offers the convenience of nearby towns and cities via the I-95 Express Lanes, with the bonus of natural beauty: the town borders Belmont Bay and includes part of the Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
What’s It Like?
Woodbridge combines waterfront living with suburban convenience. You’ll find marinas, quiet neighborhoods, newer communities and plenty of space, often at a better value than neighborhoods closer to D.C.

Things to Do
Families of teens and young children will find no shortage of things to do, from bowling and escape rooms to Build-A-Bear Workshop and live music around town.

Food Finds
Locals love The Harbour Grille, a laid-back spot with American food, live music and deck views of the Occoquan River. For a steak night, try Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. Potomac Mills also has plenty of dining, from fast casual to sit-down.

The Great Outdoors
Start with Leesylvania State Park, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, with plenty of water activities. Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge offers marshes, meadows, woods and shoreline in a peaceful setting, and Prince William Forest Park is close by for hiking and camping.

Shopping
Potomac Mills is one of the largest malls in the region, with more than 200 stores and outlets, so most shopping trips start and end in one place.

Getting Around
Beyond easy access to I-95, OmniRide offers commuter buses to major job centers, and the Woodbridge VRE station has commuter trains into Alexandria and D.C.

From a sprawling wildlife refuge to one of the region’s biggest malls, Woodbridge offers plenty to do and great places to eat. If you want suburban life within reach of good schools and shopping, Woodbridge is it.
