Getting Around

Burke has two VRE (Virginia Railway Express) stations, plus commuter buses, free commuter lots and slug lines into D.C. Slugging is a form of casual carpooling that’s been around since the 1970s: drivers pick up commuters so everyone can use the HOV lanes to D.C. or the Pentagon.

With its quiet suburban feel and plenty of excitement nearby, Burke may be the perfect choice, whether you commute to D.C. or want to raise your family with access to highly rated Fairfax County Public Schools.
