“Julie was so amazing! My husband is active military and we just PCS’d here, Julie was so quick to respond and went above and beyond to help us. I highly recommend if you are moving and in need of renting or buying a home to work with Julie Do. Her professionalism and thoroughness is top notch. We can not thank her enough for all of her help!”

Moving to Northern Virginia? Welcome.
Whether you’re on PCS orders or relocating for a new job, I’ll help you learn the area and find a home to buy or rent, even before you arrive.
Moving is stressful. Finding home shouldn’t be.
Northern Virginia is home to a lot of military families and people who move here for work, and the area can be hard to sort out from a distance. Commutes change a lot depending on where you live, and the right neighborhood depends on your routine, your budget and how long you expect to stay.
I’ll help you figure out where to look, whether to buy or rent, and how to time everything around your move. I work with renters, buyers, sellers and landlords, so we can find the option that makes sense for your family.

Neighborhoods Near the Major Installations
Fort Belvoir
Along Route 1 in southern Fairfax County. Many families look in nearby Lorton, Springfield, the Alexandria area and Woodbridge.
The Pentagon
Living near Metro, VRE or a slug line makes the commute much easier. Alexandria, Springfield and Burke are popular choices.
Quantico
Along I-95 to the south. Woodbridge and the surrounding Prince William County communities are a natural fit, with Express Lanes and VRE for trips north.
Choosing what’s right for your family.
It depends on how long you expect to be here, what your housing allowance covers, and whether you’d like to keep the home as a rental after your next move. I’ll walk you through the trade-offs honestly.
If you’re thinking about buying, ask your lender about a VA loan. It may let you buy with no down payment and no private mortgage insurance. A VA funding fee usually applies unless you’re exempt, and I can introduce you to trusted local lenders who can walk you through it.

Families Who Moved Here With Julie
“Julie is absolutely AMAZING! In the last several years Julie has helped us find a rental when we first relocated to Northern Virginia, helped us buy and sell our first house, and get a remarkable deal on our 2nd family home. Without Julie’s expertise and genuine care, my family would not have been able to achieve the financial milestones that we have. Julie made buying and selling in a crazy market stress free! Although I know we aren’t, I always feel like we are her only priority. Everyone deserves the experiences we have had with Julie. A real blessing to our family.”
“Julie Do is knowledgeable and resourceful. I met Julie when trying to find a house to rent for my family. I was thinking to myself, “What real estate agent is going to want to help a family find a house to rent?” Then I met Julie Do. She greeted me eagerly and kindly on the phone and said, “I’d love to help you.” We were in the process of leasing a home within two weeks of having Julie help us. She quickly understood my needs and tastes in a home for my family, and she returns my messages immediately. I highly recommend her for your real estate needs.”
